TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. SECURING YOUR BOOKING

The booking of the event is only reserved once the client has paid the non-a refundable deposit of £50 to the makeup artist. Arranging a trial does not reserve the makeup artist’s services for the event.

 

2. TRIALS


Trials always take place at my location (N17 ) unless otherwise arranged – travel prices then may apply.
Unfortunately, Trials cannot be booked in during a weekend due to high demand however I can accommodate either daytime or evening
appointments Monday to Friday. The trial must be paid either prior or cash on the date of the trial.

 

3. PAYMENT


Payments are to be made via bank transfer. The non-refundable deposit of £50 paid by the client will be deducted from
the final balance due. The final balance is to be paid in full by the client 1 week before the event.
Failure to pay the fee within the stated time may result in the wedding date being released.

 

4. TRAVEL EXPENSES


There is also a separate travel fee which is as follows:


-5 to 10miles=£15
-10 to 20miles=£20
-20 to 30miles=£25
-30 to 35miles=£30

For locations further away, give me a call or provide details of location and
ceremony time as travel costs or possible accommodation would need to be
discussed.

5.INTERNATIONAL BOOKINGS


For international bookings flights and accommodation with breakfast should
be provided.
(Accommodation of no less than 4 stars should be booked)
Destination airport transfers should be provided abroad from both to and from
the airport.

6. RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CLIENT


The client shall inform the makeup artist of any issues that may affect the use of any equipment or products. This includes but is not limited to
sensitivities, allergies and medical conditions. The makeup artist cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred due to the client’s failure to inform them of any know condition.

 

7.BEHAVIOUR


The makeup artist reserves the full right to refuse service to the client or members the party for, but not limited to, infectious conditions / abusive, degrading, insulting, uncomfortable and threatening behaviour.

 

8. CANCELLATIONS


The client at any point can cancel the booking however the makeup artist will be under no obligation to refund any money paid up until the point of cancellation, however, the client will not be liable for any further payments.
The client can cancel a trial at any point however the trial deposit (£20) will not be refunded but will be kept on if another date is arranged.
Refunds will be made if cancellations are made by the make up artist due to circumstances and where no other suitable alternatives can be offered. No further compensation will be offered.

 

9.PHOTOGRAPHY

​

The client agrees that the makeup artist may use any photography for publicity purposes which include the makeup artists website and social media
pages. This includes photos taken by Paloma (possibly before and after photos) and photos taken by your professional photographer.

 

10. TIME/HEALTH & SAFETY


The client agrees to be bathed/ showered and ready for the makeup artist to do the clients' makeup prior to arrival. If the makeup artist is made to wait for more than 30 minutes to provide the services required, she reserves the full right to refuse service to the client.

 

In the case of bookings which require the makeup artist to stay with the client beyond one look, the makeup artist reserves the right to refuse service if the event is running later than/ is made to wait to change makeup into a different
look longer than 1 hour.
